Thank you for choosing the Humane Society of Charlotte Spay/Neuter Clinic. We know that prevention saves lives.  Spaying and neutering is key to preventing unwanted litters of kittens and puppies now and homeless adults in the future.  We are dedicated to provide the public with a low-cost option to ensure finances are not an obstacle.  We also continue to offer low-cost vaccinations to keep our pet population healthy and disease-free at our weekly Critter Care Wellness Clinic.

The spaying/neutering of your companion animal will stop it from going into heat, help prevent it from roaming, spraying and marking, and help fight overpopulation. The quality of our service is just as impressive as our volume of patients. All of our vets are compassionate animal lovers, with thousands upon thousands of spay/neuter procedures under their belts. If one or both testicles has not descended into the scrotal sac of your male dog or cat it is cryptorchid. The extra cost for a cryptorchid neuter is $25 or $50 depending on where the undescended testicle is located (inguinal canal or abdomen). It’s a small price to pay for the health and benefit of your pet and the prevention of more unwanted animals.
