Join the Humane Society of Charlotte for Community CatSNIP, a TNR surgery event on Monday, June 17! TNR or Trap-Neuter-Return prevents the reproduction of unowned community cats by getting them to our clinic for spay or neuter. All Community CatSNIP surgeries are FREE.

By appointment only! Sign up here

To be eligible, cats must be secured in a humane live-trap upon arrival, one cat per trap. If cats are not in an approved, humane live-trap, service will be denied. No wire crates or plastic travel crates. Traps may be borrowed from the Humane Society of Charlotte. Please contact HSC for more details at communitycats@humanecharlotte.org

TNR surgeries include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, ear-tip, and microchip.

An appointment is required. Anyone that wishes to bring cats must make an appointment for the cats they plan to bring.

Cats and kittens must weigh at least 2 lbs. to be eligible for surgery.

Drop Off: 8 – 8:30 am. Caretakers will pick up their cats in the afternoon.
