Kailua

Meet Kailua! This smart, energetic 2-year-old gal loves learning new skills and staying busy. She enjoys walks and spending time with familiar people, and she'll thrive in a patient home that can provide plenty of enrichment, engaging activities, and positive training to keep her mind and body busy. Kailua recently arrived at HSC from the ASPCA's Behavioral Rehabilitation Center (BRC) in Weaverville as a graduate of their program. It took many months of hard work to help Kailua build her confidence and learn more about living safely in a home, and her adopter will be an important part of continuing that journey. While at the BRC, Kailua did well playing with moderate-energy dogs and enjoyed both chase and contact play. Her adoption comes with a behavior resource packet and continued support from the ASPCA's BRC, giving her new family resources to help her continue learning and growing. If you're looking for a smart, active dog who's ready to keep learning and have fun, Kailua could be your girl!
