Barkin’ Book Club brings adults together for thoughtful and fun conversations about great books and adorable animals. Learn more about the mission of HSC, see our adoptable animals, and enjoy the company of fellow book and animal lovers. Each gathering offers a calm, comfortable environment to connect with others, build community, and support the animals and families we serve.
Registration is $12/session
Participants should acquire their own copy of the book and read it before the discussion session.

La cuota cubre el tiempo de trabajo del personal y contribuye a la misión de HSC como organización sin ánimo de lucro.
Se pueden solicitar reembolsos hasta 3 días antes de la fecha del programa en caso de cancelación. Si la cancelación se produce en los 3 días previos al programa, no podremos ofrecer ningún reembolso y el importe se considerará una donación a HSC.
We strive to have an animal ambassador at each session. Animal ambassadors are volunteer-owned dogs who are known to be comfortable around groups of people and have completed a behavior assessment with a certified trainer. Because these experiences rely on volunteer availability, an animal interaction cannot be guaranteed.
