Reading Buddies 101 – Family Orientation

Reading Buddies welcomes participants of all ages! Join our one-time orientation training session, Reading Buddies 101, to read to our animals at any time during our open hours! 

All Reading Buddies participants are REQUIRED to attend the orientation training. In Reading Buddies 101, you'll learn about dog and cat body language, helping you to better understand how our animals are feeling. We'll cover responsibilities, check-in/out procedures, and what it means to be a Reading Buddy. Upon completion, you'll gain access to read to the animals whenever we're open! 

Please attend only one Reading Buddies 101 session.  

This one-time training costs $20 per Reading Buddy. For child participants, this cost includes one adult chaperone. The attending adult must accompany the child during ALL reading sessions. Additional adults and children may attend with a child for an additional $10 each.
