Volunteer Groups
We welcome groups of up to 10 volunteers from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Each group will assist with essential tasks such as cleaning cat and dog kennels, laundry, yard maintenance, and more. The shift begins with a brief orientation and tour, concluding with group playtime with one of our adoptable animals!
A $500 donation per group is requested to support our programs. If you’re a corporate group, please complete our interest form. For non-corporate groups, reach out to Zack at volunteer@humanecharlotte.org for more information.

Volunteering at HSC brings joy when an animal finds its new home, but it can also be challenging as you navigate the ups and downs of animal welfare. Remember, we deeply value your support, and we are here for you if you ever feel overwhelmed. Your compassion for animals is at the heart of everything we do, and we are so grateful for your dedication.
The Humane Society of Charlotte is certified by Points of Light as a Service Enterprise, an organization that fundamentally leverages volunteers to successfully deliver on our mission.
