Summer Camp

Experience Summer Camp with HSC! Get to know the ins and outs of our Animal Resource Center, learn how to best care for cats and dogs, get crafty with enrichment, gain hands-on experience, and meet plenty of cats and dogs. It’ll be a barking good time!

Paw-sitive Impact for Children with Disabilities 
11 – 20 Year-olds 

Looking for a way for your child with disabilities to gain animal experience and have some fun? This camp welcomes kids with mobility, sensory and neurodivergent disabilities to explore animal connection with recreational and vocational experiences. We’ll get hands on with animals and learn about the Humane Society of Charlotte! This camp is $150.

Happy Campurrrs
Rising 1st and 2nd Graders 

Campers will explore what cats and dogs experience at the shelter to find their future homes and learn about what you can do to help them along the way. We will cover topics like animal communication, enrichment, and how to show compassion. This camp is $345.

Adventures in STEAM 
Rising 3rd – 5th Graders 

How has STEAM advanced animal care and well-being? In this camp we’ll dive into veterinary medicine, physical/behavioral therapy and how technological advancements improve the lives of our beloved animal friends. This camp is $345.

Raising Bright-Eyed Buddies – SOLD OUT
Rising 6th – 8th Graders 

The first years are important for any species, but the first 12 weeks of life are crucial for kittens and puppies. These first experiences mold the personality of an adult animal. In this camp we get to dive into the needs of juvenile cats & dogs, establishing techniques to develop social, healthy and self-assured sidekicks. This camp is $345.

Extended Care Add On 

3:00 pm – 4:00 pm each day after camp 

$70 (1st– 8th Graders)
