Camps at HSC
Experience Summer Camp with HSC! Get to know the ins and outs of our Animal Resource Center, learn how to best care for cats and dogs, get crafty with enrichment, gain hands-on experience, and meet plenty of cats and dogs. It’ll be a barking good time!
Below are the dates/times for our upcoming camps. Please note that camp themes repeat, and children should only be registered for one week this summer.
Extended care runs after camp from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
Cost: One week of camp: $380 | One week of extended care: $70

Pet Superheroes
Rising 3rd-5th Graders

It’s time to be a superhero to pets! Join us as we practice advocating for animals by learning how to prepare our shelter dogs and cats for their new homes, support community members with altruism and have lots of fun doing it!

Every interaction with an animal matters! We can make a positive or negative impact on them with our behavior. In this camp we will learn about the scientific perfective of positive reinforcement training, investigate the biology of dogs and cats, and we’ll get engaged in the mental and physical wellbeing of the animals at HSC and at home! We will spend time with shelter animals, animal ambassadors and each other to become terrific trainers!
