Pet Palooza

After more than 25 years of hosting Pet Palooza, the Humane Society of Charlotte has made the thoughtful decision to place this beloved event on pause for 2026. Over the years, Pet Palooza has raised critical funds to support our community and the animals in HSC’s care, and we are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and generosity our supporters have shown through this tradition.

We know Pet Palooza has also been a meaningful opportunity for local businesses, organizations, and animal lovers to connect with a passionate, pet-loving audience. While the event will not take place in 2026, we are excited to continue creating opportunities for our community to gather in support of our mission.

In lieu of Pet Palooza, vendor opportunities will be available at our 2026 Rescue Brew Launch Party on Saturday, August 8.

Rescue Brew is HSC’s annual collaboration with NoDa Brewing Co. here in Charlotte, and 2026 will mark the sixth consecutive year of this popular campaign. Supporters submit photos of their pets with a donation and rally friends and family to vote at $1 per vote. At the end of the competition, the dog and cat with the most votes are crowned Top Dog and Queen City Kitty and featured on the Rescue Brew can label. The Launch Party celebrates participants and winners while officially unveiling Rescue Brew to the public.
