When I came to the shelter, I tested positive for heartworm disease. The HSC shelter veterinary team has completed my heartworm treatment, and I am looking forward to a heartworm-free life! It is important for me to rest and relax while I recover after treatment, so I will need a calm environment for the next few weeks before I'm back to my regular active self. All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
