Meet Bootsie! This sweet girl is still learning the ropes, so she's looking for a family who can give her the patience, guidance, and positive reinforcement she needs to become the very best version of herself.
Bootsie is doing great with housetraining, which is a fantastic start! She'll still need plenty of consistency and a patient hand as she continues learning her manners and figuring out this whole "being a grown-up dog" thing. Think of her as a work in progress-with LOTS of potential!

When it comes to other dogs, Bootsie has had the chance to socialize with dogs around her size at the shelter, and she did really well! She absolutely enjoys having canine friends around. That said, Bootsie is a bouncy, jumpy, enthusiastic player, so her ideal adopter will be someone who understands dog body language, can recognize when play is getting a little too rowdy, and is comfortable helping her learn appropriate playtime manners.

Bootsie is looking for someone who will embrace her goofy energy, celebrate her progress, and understand that good manners take time. In return, you'll get a fun-loving young dog who is ready to learn, play, and become your new best friend.

All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
