Meet Frankie! This sweet adult girl is a low-key, introverted pup who much prefers the quiet life. She's not looking for a household full of chaos and commotion-she's looking for a person who appreciates a peaceful evening, a cozy couch, and a dog who is happiest simply being by your side.

Frankie would do best in a home without other animals or small children, as her sensitive nature means she thrives with a little peace and predictability. That said, she is practically a DREAM on leash, so living in an apartment or neighborhood with other dogs should not be a problem.

Once Frankie decides you're her person, you'll discover her favorite activity: settling in beside you for an evening of couch snuggles. Add some snacks to the equation and you may have just made her perfect night. She also appears to be house trained and crate trained, making her transition into a home that much easier. And if you're looking for a peaceful companion, Frankie has another fantastic quality: she is practically silent. She barely makes a peep!

Frankie may not be the dog who demands the spotlight, but she has so much love to give once she trusts you. If your ideal dog is a calm, loyal homebody with impeccable leash manners and a serious appreciation for treats, Frankie may be your girl.

All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
