Women’s History Month: Reading Buddies Sunday Edition

It's Women's History Month! Some notable women who advocated for or worked on behalf of animals (only part of their work!) include Cicely Tyson, Gloria Steinem, Angela Davis, Coretta Scott King, and Dolores Huerta. Most led a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle as well, advocating for all animals! 

So, bring your favorite story that centers a woman, women's history, or empowers women and read to our animals at HSC. You may also choose a book from our small library - we will have a special selection available.
