AmosHumane Society of Charlotte
Hi! My name is Amos and I am a 4 year old fluffy boi. My favorite things to do are sniff all the things and chomp on squeaky toys. I would love to have my very own human to throw my toys for me so I can run like the wind to retrieve them. My favorite food is CHEESE. I will do anything for cheese. I already know how to sit but, with cheese as my reward, I am willing to learn more tricks so you can show me off to all your friends. I was injured awhile ago (only I know what happened and I'm not telling because I'm mysterious like that) so now my front paw looks a little funny, but I still love to run around the play yard and go on walks.
I would do best in a home without cats but am good with other dogs as long as they're on the calmer side. Young children make me nervous, so I would prefer a home with older children.
I tested positive for heartworms but I recently went through heartworm treatment. I did really well and should be retested in November to see if my treatment worked.
I qualify for Foster to Adopt! Take me home for up to 7 days to see if I'm the right fit for your home. If you decide that I am a good girl and want to adopt me, I come with a Foster to Forever adoption kit provided by Mars Pet Nutrition! My adoption kit will include Pedigree wet food samples and coupons for free Pedigree dry dog food as well as Pedigree Dentastix treats, a voucher for a free veterinary visit from Banfield Pet Hospital, a WISDOM PANEL Essential dog DNA test, discounts for a Whistle GO pet activity tracking device, other gear and educational information from Pedigree Foundation and the Better Cities for Pets program!
