CBJ Morning Buzz: Carolina Panthers coach kicks off fundraiser for local non-profit

The Humane Society of Charlotte had a high-profile guest in the house for the launch of its fundraising campaign for a new facility. Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera and his wife, Stephanie, are serving as honorary chairpersons of the nonprofit's “We Are Family” campaign to raise $15 million. They were on hand at a kick-off event yesterday at HSC's current home on Toomey Avenue.
