DOG 101: Basic Manners

Learn the first steps to helping your dog be happy and behaved. In this course, we’ll go over the basic fundamentals of positive reinforcement and how to use rewards to help your dog learn. We’ll go over how to teach the cues “Watch Me” and “Sit” that set up the foundation of all their future learning. If you just don’t know where to start with your dog, start here!

DOG 102: Leash Manners

Does your dog make walking a chore? This class is completely devoted to helping you teach your pup good walking skills. Learn to manage the pulling and finally take relaxing strolls.

DOG 201: Teaching Calmness

Is your dog TOO energetic? Learn all about healthy ways to help your dog channel their energy through mental and physical enrichment and make your home a little more peaceful. In this class, you’ll learn the cues “Down” and “Go to Bed” and how to utilize these cues in your home to give Fido the nudge he needs to relax.

DOG 202: Staying Out of Trouble

Is your dog nicknamed “trouble”? Are they always putting things in their mouth they shouldn’t? In this class, you will learn how to teach your dog the “drop it” or “leave it” cues and develop plans to keep them safe around the house and out in the world. Learn how to strengthen your bond and help your dog make smart choices through positive reinforcement instead of punishments.

DOG 301: Handling Distractions

In this advanced class, we will go over teaching the “stay” cue and the concept of generalizing cues in a variety of environments, teaching your dog to listen for longer and from further away. This will build your confidence in your dog and their trust in you whether you’re going on a hike, bringing them along to a dog-friendly restaurant, or walking around your own neighborhood.

DOG 302: Coming When Called

This class is all about recall and coming on cue. Teaching your dog a strong recall is invaluable and there are many ways to approach it. In this class, we’ll help you find what works best for you and your canine. A strong recall will help you feel more confident at dog parks, on hiking trails, and in your own backyard. A long leash will be provided for this class but you’re encouraged to purchase your own to keep practicing at home as a perfect recall takes a lot of practice.
