Humane Society of Charlotte Art Style Guide
Thank you for your interest in developing a rich, artistic presence at the new home for the HSC on Parker Drive off Remount Road, near the historic Camp Greene community. As you can imagine, we routinely receive generous inquiries about how to donate artwork for us to use on our walls and in our fundraising efforts.
To help bring order to that effort and to respect the value of your work and property, we have developed a process and a style guide. This document is to help guide the long-term cultivation of new and existing creative works that will adorn this new facility and enhance experiences for both visitors and staff.
To view our style guide, please click on the button below. We do accept a wide array of work as donations for fundraisers. If you are submitting work you would like to see displayed in our facility, we suggest you review samples of art that meet our aesthetic. You will find links to these in the guide.
A few important notes:
- We only accept completed works of art
- Please do not bring art to our facility unless it has been accepted through the review process
- All artwork submitted for consideration will be discussed by our Art Review Board; they meet quarterly
- We may also post special art commission opportunities throughout the year on this page and on social media
If the work you are submitting meets the criteria outlined in the style guide, please fill out the submission form below.
We hope it helps you find a path to working with us to create new art and submit existing art that will adorn our new home and embody our core values and our mission.
Thank you,
